Who we are and what we do
SIPA UK is a publishing trade association, with more than 60 member companies publishing print and electronic titles and producing events across business, professional and consumer markets.
It's the UK branch of a Washington, DC-based international organisation, the Specialized Information Publishers Association (SIPA). Worldwide, SIPA has over 500 member companies producing more than 3,000 subscription titles.
We produce up to 8 events a year, including half-day workshops, round
table discussion groups, full-day intensive training sessions, and our annual conference in July.
Topics covered over the last couple of years have included SEO and SEM, integrating sales and marketing, communities
and social media, fundamentals of subscription marketing, making money from online content, online marketing, renewals
best practice, website conversion tactics, and a copywriting masterclass.
